When you run a shell script, the NWA/WAC only applies the commands that it contains. When you apply a configuration file, the NWA/WAC uses the factory default settings for any features that the configuration file does not include. You can store multiple configuration files and shell script files on the NWA/WAC.You can edit configuration files or shell scripts in a text editor and upload them to the NWA/WAC. You can apply a configuration file or run a shell script without the NWA/WAC restarting. Shell scripts are files of commands that you can store on the NWA/WAC and run when you need them. After the switch is restarted, login the switch to double check whether the FW is upgraded correctly, via GUI page of “GUI page System > Management > System Information”.Configuration files define the NWA/WAC’s settings.Go to GUI page ‘Maintenance > Reset > Device Reboot’, check the checkbox then click Apply button. If not, go back to step 4 and reconfigure the correct active image.
